Other Services Offered at MOC

MOC also offers a range and services which effectively complement the practice of Osteopathy and provide you with many treatment options. These include:

PILATES

Pilates is a system of exercise that anyone can do and benefit from, from elite athletes to pregnant women. Traditionally Pilates is taught in a studio setting, using various different props and pieces of equipment to strengthen and tone the body. Pilates is taught in many different ways including group classes (mat or reformer), studio Pilates and Clinical Pilates (by University trained musculoskeletal therapists e.g. Osteopaths).

Pilates can be used to;

- Rehabilitate from injury
- Maintain and promote strength and flexibility
- Tone and lengthen muscles
- Enhance postural awareness
- Enhance breathing
- Promote coordination and balance
- Promote general wellbeing

Pilates at MOC

Taught by qualified Instructors, in a fully equipped Pilates studio.  Instructors at MOC have trained extensively in the Pilates method.

Pilates workouts at MOC are 1 hour long however, those who are pregnant or injured may have shorter workout times if requested.

All sessions are highly supervised with one instructor overseeing a maximum of 3 clients at any one time.

Each client, at MOC, is guided through his or her own tailored program, and exercises are added or modified according to changing needs and ability.

In the interests of hygiene, the studio has a ‘clean sock’ policy. Please bring a clean pair of socks with you for each and every workout.

Classes are available morning, afternoon and evening, call 9663 4460 for details.

Please note: Late cancellation or non-attendance fees do apply (full workout fee)
