Dr. Lena Stocks-Ramsay
Dr. Lena Stocks-Ramsay graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Masters of Osteopathy with distinction.
Lena applies osteopathic principles to treat a vast array of conditions, with a strong holistic focus. Her treatments address injuries and underlying biomechanical weaknesses and aim to uncover the true cause of your symptoms. She has a special interest in the treatment of chronic pain, postural strain and work or ‘office’ related conditions. She believes that health is about balance and the bigger picture. Her approach includes dietary investigation and modification.
Lena has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation. She has worked within the health and fitness industry, as a sports trainer for the Kew and the La Trobe University football clubs and has also completed a clinical internship at the <em>Sportmed International Hospital</em> in Mumbai, India. In India she worked alongside leading orthopaedic surgeons and sports doctors. This developed a special interest in the treatment and recovery protocols for pre-surgical and post-surgical patients (orthopaedic).
Lena has completed additional training in Dry Needling and Myofascial Cupping; she is passionate about health and is strongly committed to continued professional development.
